Here is a hand carved Hawaiian turtle also know as Honu (highly respected in Hawaii), made out of a solid piece of Acacia wood (Monkey Pod). The turtle measures 15 inches long by 10 inches wide (35 cm x 25 cm). The wood was stained and hand rubbed to give it a beautiful finish.
